Just to "prove" it's not always idyllic on the bay ... this is a photo taken this afternoon of the waves crashing on the barrier islands about 5 miles north of us here.
Truly spectacular. And unusual indeed for April.

and to think the Bahamas govt would like to build on all the barrier islands...imagien if those nasty waves would have hit mainland NP...
